Brand consistency

There's no better way to help your brand than just simply being consistent.

There are thousands of things I can tell you to make your brand better, but nothing is more important than consistency. I can’t tell you how many times we have audited a brand and found variations of a style guide that doesn’t exist.

As Tracy Hazzard writes for Inc. magazine in 2017, Lucidpress in partnership with Demand Metric surveyed over 200 organizations to better understand the impact and value of brand consistency and here is what they found.

  • For organizations with brand consistency issues, the estimated average revenue increase attributed to always presenting the brand consistently is 23%.

  • Study participants whose brands are consistently presented are 3-4 times more likely to enjoy excellent brand visibility than those with inconsistent brand presentation.
